In this session, we explored how Autodesk's Forge API can be leveraged to revolutionize the lighting design process—from initial visualization to final manufacturing. The presentation highlighted how using the Forge platform enables a seamless collaborative workflow among designers, manufacturers, and stakeholders, eliminating traditional silos that often hinder efficiency in lighting design projects.

Participants gained insight into how the Forge API helps integrate design tools to create realistic visualizations, optimize lighting solutions, and automatically generate manufacturing-ready data. The session provided a comprehensive look at how real-time visualization tools can be linked to manufacturing processes, significantly improving speed, accuracy, and collaboration within lighting design projects.

Through practical examples and a live demonstration, we showcased how the Forge API supports both creativity and productivity, offering a modern solution for end-to-end project management in lighting design—from concept all the way to physical production.
